LOUISVILLE JOCKEY CLUBS STAKE EVENTS. Louisville, Ky.. January 4. Lyman II. Davis, secretary of the New Louisville Jockey Club, today sent out entry blanks for the stakes to be decided at .the. next spring meeting. The entries for all stakes will close February 1. The stakes and conditions are as follows: TO BE RUN AT SPRING MEETING 1907. The Kentucky Derby, for three-year-olds in J.07, 1906.sh,000, of which 00 to second; 11-1 miles. The Kentucky Oaks, for three-year-old fillies in l.rK7, maidens, twelve pounds; 1 1-10 miles. TO BE RUN AT SPRING MEETING 1000. The Clark Handicap, for three-year-olds ami upward, ,500 added; 1 1-10 miles. The Blue Grass Stakes, for threo-year-olds, ,000 added; 0 1-2 furlongs. The Frank Felir Stakes, a selling sweepstakes for three-year-olds and upward, ,000 added; 1 mile. The Debutante Stakes, for two-year-old fillies; ,000 added: 4 furlongs. The Juvenile Stakes, a selling sweepstakes, ,000 added: 5 furlongs. The Louisville Steeplechase, a handicap for three-year-olds and upward, ,000 added; full course, about 2 miles. The Bashford Manor Stakes, for two-year-old colts; 4 1-2 furlongs. The Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks to be run at the coming spring meeting closed in 1900.
