HILDEBRAND MAY HIDE TOR WHITNEY. New York, January 22. Eugene Hildebrand has returned to his home in Sheepshead . Bay. While the Jockey Club, so far as can be learned, has taken no action in the matter of restoring his license to him, it is the prevailing opinion among horsemen that Hildebrand will be seen in the saddle again when the season opens at Aqueduct in April. It is also believed that the jockey will give first call on his services to the Whitney stable and that he will be compelled to sever all further relations with Joe Yeager, the plunger, who first brought him east, and who held a contract with him up to the time that the stewards set him down last year for rough riding.
