SWAIN IS INDEFINITELY SUSPENDED, Booker Is Fined 00 for Striking MeDaniel H. L. Jones Gets Stoessel Books Lose. Los Angeles, Cal., February 10. Judge Hamilton had on his disciplining clothes today, jockeys Swain and Booker falling nnder his displeasure. Swain was suspended indefinitely, except to ride horses for his contract employer, on account of his poor ride on J. F. Donohue, February 13. Booker was fined 00 for striking jockey MeDaniel in the closing strides of the fourth race today. Stoessel was bid up from 00 to 1,000 by H. L. Jones and sold to him. The books were hit hard, especially on King of Mist and Starling. The betting was heavy and spirited with fifteen books doing business.
