RADTKE REMINDS ONE OF REDFEHN. "Radtke reminds me much of Redfern the first season the latter rode in the east," said a turfman who has recently returned to New York from New Orleans. "He rides very much after the style of Redfern and is a most promising youngster. He has a good head for such a yonng boy and uses rare judgment in a race. He was not overcome by a case of the rattles during the time I saw him ride, lie can whip a horse, too, when it is necessary, though he is not given to the undue use of the persuader. Not all of the winter wonders make good when they come east, as we all know, but Radtke, with anything like a chance, should do well here."
