BUYS FIFTY ACRES NEAR BELMONT PARK. United Hunts Racing Association to Have a Permanent Home Building to Begin at Once. New York, February 1C The United Hunts Racing Association has purchased a tract of land, embracing fifty acres, near Queens, Long Island, and situated immediately behind the backstreteh at Belmont Park. They will build on this a clubhouse, grandstand and track for flat racing. By courtesy of the Westchester Racing Association their steeplechases will lie contested over the course at Belmont Park. The construction of the new plant will begin immediately that it may be ready for a meeting in October. The dates to be occupied will be during the meeting of the Metropolitan Jockey Club at Jamaica, where there is no steepieehasing. The number of days has not been decided upon, but it is generally presumed it will lie three. This was the number of days of the inaugural meeting of the club at Morris Park last fall.
