Mordella was always a contender and finished gamely, but tiring. Gallant showed the most early speed and ran a good race, but also tired. Kings Gem ran well to the stretch, but failed to stay. Kickshaw showed the most early speed and, after being passed by Canyon, came on again and outstayed liini at the end. The latter came fast around the turn aud appeared the winner when turning into the stretch, but tired under pressure in the final furlong. The others ran poorly. Stoncr 1I11I was inadequately handled, but finished like a Hash and should have been second. Perfect finished well. High Shine showed some speed. Shuupikc ran to his best form and easily outstayed Mr. AVIxson. The latter ran well to the stretch, but tired hi the closing drive. Jim Collins ran fairly well uud finished gamely. Saul was golug last at tilts end.
