DANNY MAHER HAS NO DEFINITE PLANS. New York, February 17. Danny Maher, who ! expects to sail for England next week, goes with no definite plans for the season. His contract with Sir James .Miller was made " invalid by the death of the latter, but Maher will without doubt make connections that will be equally as profitable. "I have heard but little from England that would throw any light on my plans for the season." said Maher. "Trainer Blackwell wrote me to make no arrangements of any sort until I see him. So I suppose he has some plan in view. I have had two or three offers from other prominent turfmen, but will follow Blackwells instructions and do nothing until I have consulted with him. I have no fears that I will be able to make a good engagement."
