Wedgwood was well back in the early running, but moved up on the turn and, passing Grove Center in the stretch, outstayed Celehratioh in a well contested finish. The latter made up ground, finished fast and gamely and should win soon. Grove Center showed a good turn of speed, but tired In the stretch drive. Decoration finished well. Louis Kraft took the lead after going a mile and a quarter, but gave way readily when Col-onist challenged and tired badly in the last quarter.
