MAY "NOT RACE AT PROVIDENCE. . Providence, R. I., June 23. President Miuton, of the Narragausett Breeders Association, has made no official announcement concerning the matter, but it is highly probable that there will be no meeting at Narragausett Park this year. The dates as allotted by the Jockey Club are July 23 to August 11, and up to a few days ago there were indications that the meeting would be held as last year, but President Minton has lately had trouble with some of the politicians and it is said on good authority that he does not see his way clear to open the meeting in the face of certain legal interference. .
