At post 1 minute. Start good for all but St. Valentine. Won easily; second the same. Ruth W. was much the best, indulged Head Dance with the lead for three-quarters, then drew away and won easily. Head Dance showed much speed .and held the others safe. Water Pansy ran a good race from a bad beginning. St. Valentine appeared sore when going to the post and was practically left. Blondy began slowly, but ran a good race and, with an even break, would have been troublesome to the winner. Lady Vera showed the most early speed, but tired. Nellie Racine was always outrun. The latter was always prominent And finished gamely. Richard JK showed speed, but met with slight Interference when turning into the stretch. Bonilield ran well to the stretch and iiad no mishaps. Affinity showed the most early speed, but had nothing left after racing Gold Note into defeat. Gold Note Is a good looker, ran a good race and is worth remembering. Sylvan Dixon ran fairly well. Rhluock showed sudden Improvement, ran a good race, stayed well and finished gamely. Neva Welch did her best. Arthur Cummer ran a thoroughly bad race and can do much better. Sinner Simon showed the most early sneed, but failed to stay. Scratched C302l Graphite, 109.
