JOHN H. KIRBY IS SURELY DEAD. In the first race on the second day of the Denver meeting the horse which finished fourth is named in the reports of the race as John II. Kirby. It was in all probability J. V. Kirby. The horse John II. Kirby fell in a race at tho New Orleans Fair Grounds on March 31 and broke his neck. It was so reported In Daily Racing Forms charts of that days racing and was verified yesterday by Secretary Martin Nathauson of the Harlem Jockey Club, who was in charge of the racing at New Orleans at the time. Presiding Judge Stebblns at Denver,"has been asked for information as to the idcutity of the Jjore running at Overland Park.
