MEDDLER LEADS AMERICAN SIRES. Some radical changes in the relative positions of the leading American sires have taken place recently through the decision of big stakes down east. Meddler lieing now well in the lead by reason of Go Betweens success In the Suburban. So far as appearances go Meddler lias a good chance in advance to again head the American winning list, having now in sight more probable contributors of high class than any other sire. Water Pearls victories have served to place Watercress second to Meddler and Hamburg lias receded to third place and Sain to fourth.
