OVERTON FEELS CERTAIN ABOUT TENNESSEE. New York, July 2G. President May Overton oC the Tennessee Breeders Association, is here from Nashville to spend a couple of weeks with hla son John, who has just undergone a successful operation for appendicitis. "While I do not doubt at all that there will be other efforts made to secure legislation unfavorable to racing in Tennessee;" said Mr. Overton today, "I feel certain that the .decision of the Supreme Court of the state in declaring the foolish law enacted In the last legislature against pool-selling unconstitutional, has brought about a revulsion of feeling even among the people who previously were opposed to the sport. I look for racing to continue always In Tennessee and on a constantly, growing and generally improved scale.
