JOCKEY BOBBINS FIGURES IN COURT "ACTIO. Jockey Walter F. Robblns is figuring in a case, before Judge Kavanagh. Attorney Munson T. Case, representing Charles F. Robblns, father of the jockey, contended that a parent has not the legal right to apprentice a son as a jockey and that any contract made between a father and a horse owner on these terms is invalid. When jockey Robblns was thirteen years old he is said to have been apprenticed to Moses Kahn, the father of the boy claiming it was stipulated that bis son was only to exercise horses and ride an occasional race, and that he was to ride only, James Arthurs horses. Because Robblns- was asked to ride a vicious animal at New Orleans the father Insisted on his leaving Kahns employ. To secure a release the father, gave a Judgment note for ,000, one-half of which he has paid- The case came before Judge Kavanagh on a petition to set aside a judgment for ,910 obtained by Kahn. Judge Kavanagh will decide the case shortly
