Miss Otlicions, favored by the stiff going, was taken wide throughout, closed a big gap in the last quartet and, finishing with a rush, won going away. Avendow had much the best of the start, but was restrained and followed Erlcson closely for the first half, then assumed the lead and tired hi the filial drive. Decklaw, practically left, closed a big gap aud finished gaining fast, was best and would have won with un even break. La Thorpe ran a good race. Gabble tired badly after going a half. Krlcson showed early speed, but quit after going a half and ran a dull race. Helen Maclln and Katie C. S. would not break. Zlnda. poorly handled and tHkcn wide all the way, was probably best and, better handled, might have won. Sallic B. B., almost left, closed a bis gap and finished fast. Jay Ward ran a good race and -was gaining at the end. Belltoone quit after going a half. Weberfields was a forward contender in the early stages. Subador set the pace in the early stages, but tired suddenly and was given an easy ride through the stretch. Bluemint was beaten off all the way and ran a bad race. Class Leader can do much better and was never In the hunt. Weird unseated ids rider at the second jump. Dalesman was going well when he lost his rider. Lansdown was suited by the going and showed speed, but tired after going three-quarters and barely lasted long enough to save third place. Plautus had no mishaps aud only ran moderately well.
