Mrs. Frank Foster outbroke her opponents and, setting a fast pace, opened up a lengths advantage in the first sixteenth and retained it all the way. Loupania moved up fast on the far turn, but could never get to the winner. Gay Boy was closing up at the end under punishment. Knickerbocker showed speed for a half mile, then retired. Ingolthrift showed speed, but failed to stay and can do better. Scratched 64320 Stoner Hill, 90; 016S7 Wilkey, 90. Overweights Raviana, 1 pound. Tanbark set the pace all the way and opened up a winning lead on the far turn, but was tiring at the end and had to stand a hard drive all through the last furlong to stall off Reside. The latter came again in the last sixteenth after dropping back on the turn out of the backstretch. Phil Igoe moved up fast on the turn for home, but tired under punishment at the end. Arthur Cummer was outrun for the first half, but worked his way up on the inside on the far turn and, coming fast through the last furlong, just managed to get up in the last stride. Rebounder was much used in setting the pace and tired in the final drive, but hung on gamely. Little Mike outstayed Gauze and was very sore when going to the post. The latter trailed until straightened out for the final run, but finished with a great burst of speed and easily disposed of the others. Prestige just managed to last. long enough to stall off Gilpin. Lady Carol set a fast pace for six and a half furlongs, then tired. Scratched 64304 Dan McKenna, 101; 61300Billy Bcnzlng, 91. Alsono was waited witli until well around the far turn before moving up, then caught and passeil the leaders when straightened out in the homestretch and easily disposed of Sharp Boy. The latter outgamed Reticent In the final drive and ran away a mile after the finish. Reticent, off poorly, closed a big gap and moved up fast on the outside after entering the homestretch, but tired in the last eighth under a drive. Usury showed speed for five furlongs, then quit. Steel Trap broke slowly and got caught in a jam at the start and was crowded back, but worked her way up on the backstretch, drew away and opened a winning lead and was well in hand at the finish. Fannette finished fast under a drive and just managed to get up in time to beat out Manfred. The latter raced foiwardly throughout, but tired under a drive In the last furlong. The others ran poorly.
