HORACE E.S REPORTED FAST TRIAL. In dispatches from New York it is claimed that Horace E. worked over the Futurity course at Slieepshead Bay, Monday afternoon, in l:10g, pulling up in great shape. If lie did, it would appear that he is the horse to beat next Saturday. The record for the race is Yankees 1:09J. Ogden and Ballyhoo Bey each ran In 1:10. This was over the old short course. Over the present full distance the record is 1:114, made by Artful and Ormondale. The morning Telegraph of Monday says that "Bub" May and Radtke have "made their peace" and that Kadtke will ride Horace E. in the Futurity, if Dc Mund is also started it is likely that Dugan will be bis pilot.
