SEATTLE IS EXPERIENCING A BOOM. Cincinnati, O., August 2S. Colonel W. E. Apple-gate got back from Seattle on Sunday. His stay there was a bit limited, but he had lots of time to see what was doing. "The racing at Seattle," said he, "was splendid, and while I was there nineteen" books were on. The city is on a boom, and real estate has gone away up. A piece of ground that I wanted to buy two years ago for 1,000 sold for 10,000 recently. The whole section out there is booming, and there is plenty of money floating about."
