Winner Ch. f, by Voter Queenston trained by J. Rowe. Went to post at 2:32. At post 3 minutes. Start straggling. Won pulled up; second driving; third the same. Suffrage is a speed marvel, beat the barrier and set a tremendous pace, drew away and won pulled to almost a walk in the easiest win of the season. Lotus was decisively outpaced by the leaders until right at the end, where she got up for second place in the last couple of strides. Jacobite is In-grand form and essayed o race with Suffrage, but succumbed after going a hot three furlongs, ran a grand race and was easily second best. Simple Honours, away poorly, closed up rapidly in the last half, rim-. Jilng a superior class race. Consistent held on well throughout and ran a cracking good race. Pater, badly outpaced for the first half, finished moderately well, but is in bad form. Hooray and Guiding Star are also in poor form. Won handily: second driving; third the same. Momentum again outbroke and outpaced his opponents under skillful handling, scoring what was probably a lucky victory, however. Royal Lady broke slowly and rushed Up on the inside of the leader, but was badly shut off, then closed up again very fast, but swerving to the outside. Royal Breeze, after being reserved in a good position, .began to improve his position rapidly in the last three furlongs and was a fast going third. Oraculum, from a Hying start, kept well up for a half mile and then tired, but ran a good race. Master Lester, away very badly, made up a lot of ground. Darabow went well after getting away poorly. Coy Maid, from a good Inside position, quickly got into forward contention, set a hot pace through the last six furlongs and was never headed, but probably achieved a lucky victory. Dandelion, away slowly on the outside, was forced wide on the first turn and bumped badly, losing much ground, but closed up with wonderful speed on the extreme outside and momentarily appeared like passing the leader in the stretch, but tired eventually. Far West held a forward position from the start aiid finished a fast going third, running a cracking race. Chimney Sweep, shut off at the start, steadily improved, his position on the outside into a close fourth in a surprisingly good effort. Angler, knocked to the rmr at the start, closed a big gap. Red Friar made up a lot of ground. Martin Doyle lost ground in the Orst quarter and appeared hopelessly out of it when beginning the last furlong. Grapple failed to stay. Gold Lady Improved her position from the start, closed up rapidly on the inside In the last furlong and just failed to get up. Fantastic ran lapped on the leaders until in the last sixteenth, where she tired and received a badly judged ride, making her run on the outside on the turns. Victoria B. closed a big gap In the last half. Clare Russell, slightly sore, ran forwardly for five furlongs, but tired In the closing drive. Loring helped to force the pace to the stretch, where she quit badly. Jersey Lady was never dangerous and Is in poor form. Scratched 04728 Hyperbole, 105. Corrected weights Clare Russell. 122. Won driving; second and third tha same: Lancastrian was reserved in close pursuit of the pacemaker from- the start and got up in the last stride of a long whipping finish. Our Sister set the pace throughout and only lost out in the last stride and . should have won. Huntington ran prominently for a mile and then dropped back. Ebony also held a good position in the early running, but failed to stay. Jennie McCabe was nevpr dangerous and ran a bad race. Plavlgny tired after running well for a mile and finished swerving all over the course. Jockey Freishon was Instantlv killed and jockey Ross was seriously injured. Nemesis received a lucky start and maintained a good position in the early running, finally wearing the leader down in the stretch and was easily best. Stoic, from a lying start, set the pace to the backstretch, where he was momentarily headed by Miss Ogden, passed the latter again on the turn and appeared all over the winner in the stretch, but tired. Miss Ogden got away slowly and was rushed up on the inside and into the lead, but tired on the last turn, yet beat the others off for third place, llolscher got away badly and closed a lot of ground.
