TRADITION GOES TO THE ELMENDORF STUD. De Mund Ships in Good Shape from New York and Is Now at Lexington Track. Lexington, ky., October 0. The famous race marc Tradition, by Goldfinch, out of Reclare, by Reform, owned by J. B. Haggin, has arrived here to be retired to the stud. Tradition won over 5,000 on the turf and bears the distinction of being one of the only two performers that ever defeated Sysonby. She is now four years old and will probably bo mated to Watercress next snring. With her came live fillies also owned by Mr. Haggin,, yearlings aid two-year-olds,, and Frank Jones good filly Red Flag. On another .train . the racing Stable of Paul J. Bainey, in charge of trainer John Bub May, arrived here yesterday to go into temporary winter .quarters at the Kentucky Association track. The star of the string. De Mund, winner of the Flat-bush Stakes and third in the Futurity, shipped in tip-top condition.
