STAKE PROSPECTS AT BELMONT PARK. The fall meeting of the Westchester Racing Association begins at BcOmont Park tomorrow. The autumn meeting of last year was marked by sensational and record-breaking racing. Roseben hung np a new mark at three-quarters and Kiamesha equalled the mile record. Bedouin established a new record at a mile and live-sixteenths and various other noteworthy performances contributed to the fame of .the beautiful new course. The horses of this year are equally capable of great feats of speed and anticipation of great racing attends the meeting at hand. Three big stake races will be run off tomorrow. They arc the two divisions of the eighth Matron Stakes, for two-year-olds, and the Jerome Handicap, for three-year-olds. The names of the probable starters appear elsewhere in this issue. The Corinthian Open Steeplechase and the Fajr-vlew Selling Stakes will be decided Tuesday. The Corinthian is for gentlemen riders and Grandpa,. Nult Blanche, Pure Pepper, Yama Christy and Oloroso appear to be the best horses nominated. The lnlrvlew is a dash of a mile and a sixteenth, for three-year olds, with Nealon, Hot Toddy, Jacobite, Gallavant, James Reddlck, Arklirta, Security, Belle of Pequest; Single Shot, Inquisitor, Guiding Star, Leonard Joe nayman . and Nemesis among those engaged. Wednesday afternoon will be marked by the running of the Hurrlcana Stakes, for two-year-olds, and the Bronx Highwelght Handicap, for two-year-olds and over. The Hurrlcana is at five furlongs under selling conditions, with, Tourenne, Ale-thouo, Blue Dale, Royal Breeze, Elfall, Yorkist, Soprano, Beggar Maid, Glenhara, Mitre and Puissant apparently best of the moderate, band nominated. The Bronx is at three-quarters and all the fast ones are In. Roseben, Lady. Amelia, Tiptoe, Dr. Gardner, Dishabille, Nannie Hodge, Ginette, Bnrlc.igh, Suffrage, Flip Flap, Hot Toddy, Monet, Ormondale. Inquisitor, Merry Lark, Sanfara, jDerifsrhtnml, Jacobite, Brookdale Nymphnnd Dolly Spanker serv- ing to assure an excellent contest.
