Potter ran to his best form and, after wearing down Miss Anxious on the stretch turn, came away and won with much in reserve. Orderly saved ground all the way and finished fast. Matador had no mishaps and ran a. fairly good race. Miss Anxious showed her customary early speed, but tired after going five furlongs. Ara came from a long way back in the stretch and finished fast. Sorrel Top, away slowly and given a bad ride, was taken wide all the way and ran a dull race. Petit. line and French Nun ran far below their best form. Start good. Won easily; second and third driving. Charlie Eastmau ran as if he outclassed the others and won all the way with plenty in reserve. In":nci-ble, saving ground all the way, finished resolutely and outlasted Marvel P. The latter was taken wide most of the way and tired in the final drive. Suzanne Rocamora ran fairly well and can do better. Great acted badly at the post and tired after going a quarter. St. Tammany came from a loug way back In the stretch and finished going gamely. S. A. B. is a poor racer and a bad actor at the post. Dr. Keith began slowly, but moved up after going one round of the field and, finishing fast through the stretch, was wearing he winner down at the end. Madoc blundered repeatedly and nearly unseated his rider several times. Battle Creek ran poorly. Gus Lanka and Weberflelds ran out at the second jump. Ben Shaw, II. M. P. and Evander were forced out of the course at the third jump. Maverick was caught In the mix up and was thrown against the wing. New Amsterdam ran out of the course after going over the sixth jump. Charlatan closed a big gap after going u half, but was forced wide into the stretch and tired slightly near the end. Miss Officious is showing improved form, saved ground all the way and, finishing with a rush, got up in the final stride for second place. Timothy Wen was away running and showed a high order of speed, but tired slightly after going a half. Lens tired fast after going a half. Sister Huffman began slowly and closed a big gap in the last quarter. Montalban nhowed early speed. La Veita can do better. Colonel Bartlett was poorly handled and ran a winning race, was rushed into a commanding position from a slow beginning and tired slightly near the end. Bitter Hand was caught in a jam soon after the start, then continued to gain steadily and finished with; a rush. Rubaiyat was restrained for the first three-quarters, but tired when called on in the stretch and can do better. Ingolthrift ran in improved form and set the pace for the first three-quarters. Lazell had a rough trln and will show to better advantage. Chanlda and Postman were away In a tangle and had scant chance."
