RAIN MARS RACING AT DALLAS. Dallas, Tex.. October 15. Rain all of Saturday night and Sunday turned the track Into a quagmire and caused wholesale scratching. Despite the unfavorable conditions, a fair crowd was out to see some tame sport. The management has abolished the messengers in the stand and is policing the ring to free it of touts. Charles A. Stone was a well backed good thing in the first race, but began slowly and never had a chance, the winner turning up in Mary Candlemas. Harmakis only cantered in the second race and Dan Collins beat a cheap lot in the third. Reservation beat Footlights Favorite a head in the fourth. Marine won the fifth. Hilee, the noted old campaigner, was badly cut down and his career is ended. Rosi Ni Nl won the last race in a canter.
