Won easily; second driving; third the same. Vails was best, jumped into the lead at the start and won all the way never seriously menaced. Barbary Belle was always in nearest pursuit of the leader, but finished tiring. Reba Stone, in the middle of the track, came from the rear with an impressive closing rush. Jennie Wells tired right at the end of strenuous and moderately close early pursuit of the leaders and ran a good race. Rollicking Girl was away poorly and finished fast. Adellnette was going well at the end. Manana, nearly left, closed a big gap. Qualify is a good looker that failed to stay. Crimson Clover ran in close quarters and suffered from the others boring over and was eased up at the end. Oleroso maintained a place within striking distance of the pacemaker, waiting patiently until in the last quarter before moving up and scoring in the lnst stride. Orthodox was skillfully nursed through the long journey and, in- a game finish, only sucenmed right, at the end. Gypsic ran forwardly from the-start 1 and was closing up well at the end under a poor ride. Hardshot was outpaced for the first quarter, but moved up fast and, assuming command in the last three furlongs, won running off. Liunepee, from a good start, showed superior early speed, held on very gamely at the end and is surprisingly improved. Herman was on the extreme outside and suffered from interference in the early running and, finishing with a belated end rush, should have been second. Miulota ran prominently throughout and finished well up and going on. Cobleskill shows improvement. Lamertlue finished well. Rockstone got away very badly. Brookdalc Nvnipk, after being shuttled back to last closed an immense gap and was easily second best. Pinkerton, from a flying start, set a tremendous pace to the last sixteenth, where he suddenly retired after having showed wonderful speed. Security tired after a strenuous effort to head the pacemaker. Incantation was closln"- up with a rush at the end and ran a cracking race. Zienap suffered from crowding at the start and closed a big gap. Pater failed to stay after forward running for five furlongs. Athlete ran out all the wav J anil had no chance.
