Sallie Suter saved ground when turning into the stretch and might have won but for. interference. Alta McDonald was gaining fast at the end and ran a good race. King Leopold also suffered l.v the J.unmlng in the stretch. Calita was taken wide most of the way. Bon Vlvant tired badly in the stretch and was . eased up. Azora, also poorly handled, ran a good rice and finished fast. High Bear tired fast after going three-quarters, Joe Coyne showed improved form and can do better.
