Curley Brown, the former starter, who is now serving a term in jail for violating the poolroom law, has been granted special paroles to leave the prison and take Turkish baths. Physicians say Brown is suffering with diabetes and must have his baths. The prison baths are not just what Brown has been accustomed to. While out for his airing and bath yesterday, accompanied-by a deputy sheriff, Brown espied Alex. Montegut on the street Rushing at Montegut Brown denounced him in loud terms as an informer, charging that he had spied on him and then tipped him off to the police. Montegut made tracks for the district attorneys office and filed charges, demanding that Brown be denied the privilege of bath paroles.
