PRICES RULE LOW AT MRS. BARNES SALE. Many of the Melbourne Stud Horses to Go to Mexico S. T. Harbison Buys Several. Lexington, Ky., November 24. The stallions, broodmares, yearlings and weanlings comprising the Melbourne Stud of Mrs. W. S. Barnes were sold at auction today. L. Blum, of the City of Mexico, was the heaviest buyer of mares. He also bought two of the stallions offered. Mr. Blum has purchased a number of mares privately during the past week and will secure about 300 more for Ids, Mexican ranch.
