CROKERS TURF WINNINGS IN IRELAND. Richard Crokcr heads the list of winning owners in Ireland, according to the turf calendar to hand from the Green Isle. Until a couple of mouths ago Crokers horses were trained at the Curragh of Kildare, but they have been removed to his place at Sandyford, near Dublin, and have been affected for the worse by the change. Next on the list to the former Tammany chief is James Daly, one of the most consistent followers of racing in the ould dart, with a total of 1,402. Most of this was won by the two-year-old Lalla Rookh. one of the best Allies seen in Ireland in a long time, and she also heads the list of winning horses. Daly also owns Hackler, the stallion which heads the list of winning sires and is the father of Hacklers Pride, which won some big races in England. P. O. B. Butler, who has had several victories in England, heads the gentleman jockey list with thirty-one firsts, thirty-two seconds and twenty-five thirds. Thompson heads the list of professional riders. On the winning owners list are Major Eustace Loder, owner of Spearmint, winner of this years Derby and Paris Grand Prix, His figures in Ireland were ,640, while he was second to Lord Derby in Englan. Colonel Hall Walkers total is ,74S for Ireland and he figures in third place on the English list.
