ASCOT PROGRAM FOR FIRST NINE DAYS. Los Angeles. Cal., November 24. The program for the first nine days of the Ascot Park meeting is announced by Manager J. V. Brooks. The Jonathan Club Handicap will be the feature of the opening day, which is Thursday next. Thirty-five horses have been nominated for this race. Whether the meeting will continue for the scheduled period of ninety days will not be known until the legal difficulties following the annexation of the Ascot track have been settled, yet the officials of the Club are most positive in their statements that the meeting will continue as announced.
