ANOTHER RACETRACK IN LOUISIANA. New Orleans, La., November 20. There 1s a rumor going the rounds that another racetrack is to be built in these parts. The plant, according to rumor, will he located on the east bank of the Mississippi, opposite New Orleans, and near. Gretna in Jefferson Parish. A sixty-day meeting is said to be in contemplation and both the governing bodies in the west are to be petitioned for dates. The names of the persons who are behind the proposition have not been disclosed.
