HAYMAN EVENS UP AN OLD SCORE. By claiming Botanist from A. L. Aste after the first race at Bennings Wednesday, M. L. Hayman evened up an old score. Earlier in the season Aste claimed Yorkshire Lad, one of the breadwinners of the Hayman stable, and they were not at all pleased at losing him. Hayman saw a chance Wednesday to get even and claimed Botanist for ,0S0. Hayman believes that Botanist is a. good racing proposlstion at this price notwithstanding he is an erratic sort of customer.
