Prince of Castile was always In strenuous and game pursuit, finished a fast going second aiid is promising. Rose Cherry showed superior early speed and held on well. Ray Bennett got awav poorly and closed up stead.ily. Burning Bush was poorly handled and shuttled back early. Nabonassar set and forced the pace from the start, took the lead at the half and appeared all over the winner to the last turn, but tired in the closing drive, leap-setter was well up throughout. Ladv Fashion loomed up on the last turn and quit in the last furlong. Flo Manola showed superior early speed and tired in the last quarter, was palpably short and will reverse Ihis running. Lone Wolf was shuttled back on the first turn and closed a big gap afterwards. Isabelita loomed up menacingly- on the last turn, but finished tiring and bearing out. Bearskin quit early and ran a bad race. Melar showed early speed but, under a pull, quit as if short. Sir Carter ran in forward pursuit for siv furlongs and also was short. Tim Hurst was always in close early pursuit of the leaders and drew out in the stretch, but tired at the end. Judge, from a flying start, made the running by a wide gap to the stretch, but quit and sulked in the last furlong. Petit Due, away poorly, closed a big gap. Madden was knocked back at the start and made up a lot of ground. Cliolk lledrick was closing up at the end, but Is sore. Marie II. showed line early speed. Scratched VTM7 Darthula, 100; 05C58E. M. Massa held a good forward position from the start and, after being displaced from a good lead on the last turn, came again unexpectedly and won as his rider pleased. Dollnda was reserved close up to the last turn, then moved up with a rush into a good lead and ungeared all over the winner, but tired suddenly and unexpectedly in the last sixteenth. Fulletta, racing into condition, trailed in ihe renr for six furlongs, then came like a cyclone and finished easing up. Salable ran in the worst goimg and failed to stay over six furlongs. Cre.scerton showed speed for five furlongs. Lisaro moved up after going the first quarter, maintained nearest pursuit of the winner, challenged resolutely in the stretch, could never get up, but ran a very game race. Standover. away badlv, closed a big gap and was going like a shot at the end. J. C. Clem finished in deep going and tired in the closing drive under a bad ride.
