Gild ran as if much the best, wore down Tyrollan when called on and won with plenty iin reserve. Gold Circle ran gamely when hard driven and finished fast and resolutely. Tyrollan showed the most early speed, but tired. after going a half. Polly Prim, poorly handled, was coming fast at the toid. Allowmaise ran a good race. Pompadour can do mucli better. Abjure was poorly handled and ran fa.r below her best form. Suada followed the early leaders closely, wore down Black Burn and then gamely outstayed Frank Flesher. The latter, running in suddenly improved form, came from a long way back under energetlo liandling and would have won In a few more strides. Monere came with a rush near the end Black Burn, ran a good lace, hut tired after going five furlongs. Spion closed a big gnp and finished fast. The Piker ran fairly well. Beecher was a forward contender from the start and, standing a hard drive gamely through the stretch, drew gradually away and won with plenty Ih reserve. Flavigny showed sudden Improvement and finished fast from a poor beginning Pride of Woodstock, poorly handled, w.nt well all the way and outstayed Rebo in the final strides. The latter showed a good, flight of speed, but tired fast after going three-quarters and can do much better. Florizel had -mishaps. no Gladiator ran a bad race and can also do much better. James Reddlck, In his present good form, was much the best and had to be to win, was in many pockets and was lucky to get through on the stretch turn and, finishing fast under a hard drive, wore down the leaders in the final strides to win drawing clear. Excitement ran a good race and finished fast after appearing beaten. Goldmate tired in the closing drive as if short and will improve. Buren Arnold showed a good flight of early speed, but tired fast after going a half. Dry Dollar suffered from much interference and closed a big gap. Chase can do much better and had a rough trip. Qulnn Brady dashed into a long lead from the start and, being clear of interference, set the pace all the way and was never in danger of defeat. Dr. McCluer finished going fast and was gaining slowly at th? arid. Redcoat, lucky throughput, was a close contender in the early stages, but tired in the last quarter and barely lasted long enough to save third place. Rian, badly ridden and taken much the longest way, closed a big gap and finished resolutely. J. P. Mayberry quit after going three-quarters. Gay Minister was timidly handled and can do mucli better.
