TO RACE AT GROSSE POINTE. Petroit, Mich.. January 5. — There will be racing at Grosse Pointe track this year — trotting certainly and running probably. No meetings were held last year because of the opposition of Prosecutor Hunt to betting. A new prosecutor, favoring racing, has been elected. The attitude of Prosecutor Hunt against racing had much to do with his defeat. It is said that in addition to the trotting meeting there will be thirty days for the runners. Details may be expected shortly.
