Come On Sum. well handled and away in a forward position, assumed the lead almost at once and won eJD the way with plenty in reserve. Dapple Gold went wide most of the way. but showed improved form and tiuished gamely, loan Peters was hard ridden throughout, ran fairly well and stayed better than usual. Chieftain, poorly handled and taken wide all the way. ran a winning rare and is worth remembering. Abjure tired in the last Quarter. Baneful had a rough trip and ran a good race. Enslcy, away running, showed the most sliced to the stretch and. ! eing hard ridden, stayed well in the final drive. Excitement had a rough trip, was sharply crowded against the fence after going a quarter, then finished gamely and should have been right there nut for interference. Grandita ran a fairly good race and will improve. Ouiycsa can do much better and was given a poor ride. Sir Andrew showed a flash of early speed. Overweights Waterfall. The latter was In clse quarters, most of the way. put up a good performance and would probably have won with a clear course. Columbia. Girl. ] oorly handled, was gaining at the end after losing much ground when turning into the stietch. Flavigny ran a winning race and suffered because of the interference she was subjected tc throughout. Abe Meyer was crowded back on the first turn. Henry Watterson had no mishaps and tired in the stretch run. Florizel was shuffled back soon after the start and again on the first turn, went wide thereafter and, ran fairly well. Rather Royal quit after «howing the most speed for three-quarters. Klfall was poorly handled, had scant chance and can do much better. Telegrapher had his chances ruined on the hist turn. Alencon came fast in the last quarter, but finished third on sufferance. Bash was given an easy ride and taken wide into the stretch for no apparent reason, can do much better and will show improvement, clamor showed srant speed and ran poorly. Daring was shuttled bark on the fiat turn, had to go around the others and. showing a high flight of speed, took the lead in a flash when railed on. but tired in the final furlong. Pride of Woodstock, jioorly Handled in the early stages, came Cast through the stretch and wore low 11 Oberon. The latter roughly ridden, almosr. caused a mix-up on the first turn by cutting across in front and was rushed into a long lead, but tired lit the stretch from excessive use.
