TONGORDERS DISAPPOINTING RACE. Buffalo, N. Y., June 20. Tlie Ontario Handicap, the feature of the card at Kenilworth this afternoon proved a decided disappointment. Irene A. was left at the post, while Tongorder. the public choice, might just as well have been left for all the figure be cut in the running. He trailed the others all the way and was beaten off. Lord Boanerges won in a canter. Pantouile was second and Sir Edward third. The change in track conditions was probably responsible for Tongorders poor showing. Trainer Graydon was fined for failing to have Irene A. properly schooled at the barrier. Chief Hayes, in the opening race, was the only public choice to win. The, biggest upset ot the day was the defeat of Mark Antony II. In the fifth race, for which he was an odds-on favorite. The horse led until well into the homestretch, where Request, coming with a rush, passed him in the last sixteenth and won going away. W. J. Young claimed Mark Antony II. for ,330. Jockey Goldstein was in good form. He had five mounts and won two and finished second with the other three. Jockey Joseph Hogg, who had one of his legs broken at City Park laBt winter, was at tlie track this afternoon. Hogg Is In good condition again and will be seen in the saddle in a few days. Jockey Medlicott, under contract to P. A. Raiuey, is to ride for Edward Peters here. II. McCarthy will ship his stable over from Fort Erie tomorrow.
