Lulu Young fenced faultlessly, waited on the leaders until in the second turn of the field, moved up fast and, taking command, won in a canter. Kull of Fun was always prominent and tired badly in the second turn of the Held, but had no contention for second place. Snowdrift jumped well, but lacked speed. Tony Hurt and Hurricane fenced badly. King of the Valley,- running to his best form, worked Ids way up on the inside to a contending position and tired in the final drive, but held the others sale. Little Boot showed the most early speed, hilt tired from setting the pace. The Pet showed early speed, but quit, badly after golug a good three-quaiters. Cursus closed a gap. Miss Alert .forced and set the pace and tired in the final drive, lleadley ran a good race, trailed until in the filial furlong, then finished with a rush and would have been second in a few more strides.
