Roseben, running in his old-lime invincible form, went into the lead at once and, sotting a terrific pace, won all the way and finished easing up. Prince Hamburg is at bis best, easily raced into second place when Lady Amelia quit and was a fast going second. Gold Lady ran a fast and game nice and can win when better placed. Lady Amelia showed speed, but quit badly and her race was foreshadowed in the betting. Chapultepec ran in improving form, closed a gap and finished fast and gamely. Masque got off poorly and made up considerable ground into a rapblly moving third. Monopolist ran a good, game race. AVave Crest finished resolutely. Ben Fleet followed lie winner closely to the stretch and tired. C. AV. Burt showed early speed. King James got off poorly and was going well at the end. Nealon Avas off in the rear but, moving up fast and quickly, ran into a favorable position and was waited with to the stretch turn, then challenged for the. lead and, coming on fast, drew out and won going away. Montgomery closed up ground steadily and was in the front division on the backstretch, then came on steadily into a fast going and game second and is a high-class colt. Beacon Light closed a huge gap in the last half and, finishing like a shot, got up lor third place in the final stride. Faust set the pace fast for a jnile and a sixteenth and held on resolutely in the final drive. Tokalon closed a big gap into a fast going fifth. Bedouin finished close up and going like a shot. Cairngorm and Frank GUI ran well to the stretch and tired. Electioneer was knocked oil his stride early and did not seem able to run freely afterwards. Dandelion finished fast.
