HENRY A PROMISING APPRENTICE. Calvin Henry, an apprentice jockey in the stable of James McLaughlin, is winuing his way into the favor of horsemen in the east by good riding. He first donned the colors at the Bennlng spring meeting and there lie xode the first of his four winners. At the Aqueduct meeting he rode Campaigner to victory iu the Flushing Stakes and was not first again until the second meeting at Belmont Park. His fourth winner was Lord Stanhope at Gravesend Monday. He has had fifty-one mounts. He is alert at the barrier and knows how to rldu a waiting race over a distance of ground. Lee will probably ride Pasadena in the Queen City Handicap. Pickens will p"ii6t Beau Brutninel. Ott will have the mount on Prince Ahmed.
