ASCOT MEETING CLOSES. London June 21. The meeting at Ascot closed todav. The weather was showery and the attendance "was smaller. King Edward was present at the only race in which there was any interest, the Wokingham Stakes handicap for three-year-olds and upward, six furlongs. The result -was a surprise. Forerunner II., at 33 to I, won by a neck. Morny, at 20 to 1. was second, and Albert Hall Sit 100 to 12 was third, two lengths behind Morny. Forerunner II. is a three-year-old hay colt by Pioneer out of Kendal Helle. He is owned by P. MacNamara and is In the Nugent stable. Jle won his onlr start in England as a two-year-old last July, after which, he was raced in Belgium.
