GOOD DAY FOR TALENT AT WINDSOR. Detroit, Mlcb., June 21. Four favorites and a heavily backed second choice won at Windsor today. The only halm for the layers was when King Ellsworth got home an easy winner In the fifth race, the Trotter horse going .to the post unsupported at 15 to 1. Royal Breeze, in the colors of Burlew and ONeill, ran a sensational race In the third and showed his superiority as a sprinter. He seemed hopelessly out of the race at the half mile lint Hennessy went to work on him and he gradually wore down the others and won with ease. The most exciting race of the day proved to be the first race, when Charley Ward, Mary Custis and Glena MacBride turned into the stretch upon even terms and finished that way. Moveland, however, outfinlshed the other boy, getting tlte verdict by ft nose. Charley Ward opened favorite in the race, and his odds were allowed to recede to 0 to 5. As the horses were going to the post Dr. Pangritz and liis friends began to bet on the Deerslayer gelding and when the off bell rang 7 to 5 was the best to he had. Willie Shields stable of nine horses arrived this morning in good condition from New York. J. Hennessy accompanied the stable and will do the riding here. B. L. Marders arrived from Memphis with Kllngsor, Joe Levy and Grand Duchess. Jockeys i Boland, Gaugel and Kunz left tonight for Latonia to ride in the Queen City Handicap.
