Stone Street, away fast, forced a fast pace to the stretch turn, where he went by Pleasant View Belle with ease and held the others safe in the final drive. Rexall closed up ground steadily and was going gamely at the end. Sabado saved much ground when coming into the stretch and finished with a grear rush. Buto, away poorly and forced to go wide most of the trip, closed a gap and was gaining at the end. Silver Cup, away poorly and weakly handled, came from a long way hack In the stretch. Triangle was shuttled back soon after the start aud eliminated. Pleasant View Belle showed superior speed for three turlongs. then tired fast. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Orlandwick, showing suddenly improved form, closed up ground steadily from a slow beginning and, finishing with a rush through the stretch, got up in the closing strides. Minos, prominent all the way, was in close quarters in the last furlong and would have won with clear sailing. Delia Thorpe, away poorly and forced to go wide throughout, ran a winning race and got up in the final stride for third place. Caper showed superior early speed and raced Ericson to defeat, but tired at the end as if short. Hyperbole closed a big gap. Evran showed speed. Bellmence was on the outside throughout and lost much ground In the stretch. Young Stevens had a rough trip. Ericson will improve and ran as If short. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. The latter finished gamely and saved much ground when turning into the stretch. Roserrian went a trille wide all the way and also finished gamely. Major T. J. Carson was .1 distant trailer most of the way and came with a good burst of speed through the stretch. Ovelando had scant chance after going a quarter, as his saddle turned. Evelyn S., clear of interference all the way and well ridden, was prominent throughout and, under hard urging, came away in the stretch. Geneva S. showed superior speed aud forced a stiff pace most of the Avay, saved ground when coming Into the stretch and held on well In the final drive. R. C. Rann had 11 rough trip, was repeatedly impeded and forced to go wide, but finished gamely and wore down Ben Sand In the closing strides. The latter ran a good race and Avas right there most of the way. Tackle showed a high order of speed for the first three furlongs, hut swerved badly in the last furlong and is evidently a good colt. Esther Brown tired after going three furlongs. Thebals suffered from interference and can- do much better. Scratched C9292 Orlandot, 100.
