JACOMO WINS THE WINDSOR FEATURE Four Favorites Are Successful Keen Contests Jockey Boland Draws a Fine. Detroit, Mich., July ;!. Four favorites and a heavily backed second choice won at Windsor today. The racing was the keenest of the meeting. Nearly all the races were hotly contested. The feature of the card was the third race at one mile, in which Jacomo won easily from lieside. Gargantua set a terrific pace to die last sixteenth post where he tired, finishing third. J, Ilealy shipped today to his farm at Ited Rank, N. J., all of his horses to be rested up until fall. George limes also shipped his horses to Lexington to be rested up until the fall meeting at Louisville. It. S. Davidson sent Euripides to Buffalo. Starter Dwyer fined jockey Roland 5 for mis- behavior at the post in the first race. Secretary Parmer has received numerous applications for stable room at Fort Erie from owners at Latonia and Kenilwortli.
