Cloyne ran like ;i good lilly, worked her way through steadily in the first three furlongs and, finishing gamely through the last furlong, wore down Snake Mary and won going away. Snake Mary, away fast and dear of interference, showed. the most early speed, but tired slightly at the end. Inventress had no mishaps and was a forward contender from the start. Miss Schlrnding tired after going a half. Lady Flora was .shuffled back soon after the start. Thebais, poorly ridden and cut off on the first turn, finished with a rush. Solly M. showed the most early speed, set the pace steadily all the way and held Ouahll safe in the final drive. Offardi Iiogan slowly and bad to go around the others in the first half, then finished gamely and was wearing the wlnucr down at the end. Knight of Ivauhoe quit after going a good three-quarter. Hurting, p-ntrly ridden, finished with a rush and would have been much closer up witli clear sailing. Caper had no mishaps and quit badly after going a hulf. Hyperbole ran poorly. Parisian Model followed Dora Nell closely to the stretch turn, where she passed her with case and won as her rider pleased. Albert Star, suffering ft cm interference soon after the start, was knocked far back tu the first uuarter, but moved up resolutely after getting clear sailing and finished with a rush. Flnkola began slowly, but showed a high order of speed and, finishing with a rush, got up in the last sixteenth for third alace. Marcus Anrelius had no mishaps and seemingly lias been overestimated. Dora Neff quit badly after leading for a half. Gresham ran fairly well. Clear Run had a rough trip. Ed Kane got away slowly and was not persevered with. Class Leader, showing improved form under good riding, followed the winner closely In the early, stages, but tired in the stretch run. War Chief ran fairly woll. Full of Fun trailed far back and can do much better. Suhador fell lame after going over the stretch hurdle. Maraschino tired fast in the last turn of the course and was eased up. The Clansman, running to his best form, was restrained for the first three-quarters, then moved up fast and, taking the lead, increased his advantage with every stride and won as his rider pleased. La Veita, showing improved form, trailed far back in the early limning, but moved up ftist in the stretch and finished gamely. Javanese, also showing improved form, was a close contender for the major part of the lace and held on well in the final furlong, although tiring. Mike Sutton was in a tangle most of the way and came fast in the last quarter. Hazel Patch was slightly interfered with at the start and poorly ridden throughout. Electorine and Zinfandel raced each other into exhaustion in the first three-quarters. Beau Brunimel ran a bad race, failing to show much speed at anv stage. Sera t-hed 09707 Redgauntlet, S7. Henry O. had no mishaps and ran a pood race. Savoir Faire was a sufferer from interference and, with clear sailing, would have been much closer up. Belleview tired after going three-quarters and is rounding into good form. Water Lake closed a big gap from a poor beginning. Bcrnie Cramer ran a bad race and can do much better.
