WHITES DEPARTURE CAUSES TALK. Buffalo, N. Y., July 10. There was a lot of talk here today over the hurried departure of the stable of A. White from Kenilworth yesterday afternoon. Whites string, which is composed of the two-year-olds Mrs. OFarrell and John Ahearn, is supposed to have been taken to New York. Both horses were carded to start at Kenilworth yesterday. White it is claimed, was unable to have either himself or the horses identified and they were scratched. After this he turned in his badges, gathered his traps and horses together "and left the grounds. One of the track employes claimed to have seen Chris Martin about the stable. Martin was ruled off at City Park by Judge Trevelyan u year ago last winter for making a proposition to jockey B. Smith to place horses for bookmaker Sam .Most. Most was reinstated last winter, but Martin is still under the ban. Judge Murphy says that White scratched the horses on his own account and left for New York.
