Won handily; second driving; third the same. Rye set the pace fast from the start, drew out in the last furlong after a sharp drive to get away from Ingham and won easing up. The latter ran lapped on the winner until in the final strides, was carried out in lh stretch, but clung on tenaciously all through the closing quarter. Reidinoore had no mishaps, was luckily and lorwardly placed in bvhind the pacemakers and finished fast.r King Cole maintained close 1 iiiMiit of the leaders for seven furlongs and tired in the stretch. Boema displayed brilliant early speed, was gradually forced back by the winner and, being pulled up sharply, could never get up afterwards and is very promising. Home Again ran far in the rear to the stretch, where she closed up on the inside ind ran -i good race. Ella ONeill showed early speed, but was never dangerous. Treasure was outpaced from the start. Charles Edward, from a good start, maintained closest and nearest pursuit of the pacemaker for six fur longs, then ranged alongside Dr. Gardner and drew out with a rush when straightened out for home, winning oil finally. Ballot, on the inside and securely pocketed during the middle running, came along witli reserve Sliced at the end and was a fast going second and is a coming crackerjack. Dr. Gardner beat the barrier and made the most of his advantage, set a tremendous pace for atiout six and a half furbings before he sueeumlKd and finally quit all over in the final drive. Electioneer broke slowly and was carried wide on the first turn, then loomed up at the half, but retired on the last turn. Nealou also suffered :.t the start, wen! wide and shot his bolt in the third quarter and finished eased up. The Doctor made the running for nearly a mile, then tired and finally fell over the Liverpool.
