Aiiliurndale got off fast, opened a winning lead in the first quarter and easily won all the way. I Ham was always closest in pursuit and had no contention for second place. Lady Eriny ran in a forward position all the way and finished gamely. Oriental Queen had no mishaiis. Mickletou Maid, practically left, ran a winning race. Flying Fawn pulled up lame. Glena MacBride lan well, but was tiring fast in the final drive and barely lasted long enough and fought to save third place from Bathmaria. The latter linislied gamely. Taunt finished fast. Charlie Eastman ran close in behind the leaders to the stretch, then caught Usury tiling and, in a hard drive, outvalued Charlie Gilbert in the final drive. The latter was saved from the fast early pace, moved up with a rush after being straightened for the stretch run and linislied gamely, but could not quite get up. Usury showed the most early speed and set a terrific pace, but tired in the closing strides. Dr. -Mack quit badly after turning into the stretch. Dandy Dancer and Boll Weevil raced each other into exhaustion iu the early stages. Ancestor began slowly and finished with a rush. Ilnmllcar ran well and outgained Dick Redd for third place. Dick Redd ran a good race. Kiamesha IT. was speedy, but quit badly when challenged.
