Padrone, off forwardly, showed extreme speed In the early stages, but tired at tlie end. Lattice, as usual, U-gan slowly, but finished well and was going fastest of tlie tirst three at tlie end. Soiree, crowded back at the start, closed a big gap and outstayed Kings Son for third place. The latter finished well. Antoine and Agues Ford showed speed, but tired in the stretch. Charlie Gilbert moved up on tin: outside with a rush on the far turn, but tired after getting to the leader. Gold Note quit in the last furlong.
