WILL HAVE RACING, BUT NO BETTING. Hot Springs, Ark., August 2S. There will bo racing at the Arkansas State Fair at Oaklawn in October. Secretary Gill announces that at least three purses for the runners will he offered daily. There are more than fifty rnnners at the track now. He says the letter of the recently enacted Amis anti-pool selling law will be lived up to and that racing without betting will be experimented with.
