MONTREALS FIRST-DAY FEATURES. The Autumn Cup and the Canadian Grand National Steeplechase will be the opening day features at Montreal Saturday. On Labor Day there will be the Champ de Mars Stakes at a mile, this race and tlie Autumn Cup leading up to the Saint James Handicap on Saturday, September 7. The book for the meeting programs a steeplechase every day. The races fop hunters and for gentlemen riders are of sufficient number to insure keen interest In this branch of the sport.
